Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units, estimate materials, labor, tools, and equipment, and lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- The candidates should be able to construct and install prefabricated masonry units, read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required, and work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
- The candidates should be able to cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces, and lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
- The candidates should be able to restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
