Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Security system

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and be physically capable of demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess excellent oral communication skills, exhibit flexibility, demonstrate good judgment, and display reliability

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
• The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and perform adjustments, minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform minor repairs on appliances, and conduct safety and security checks
• The candidates should be able to supervise other workers, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
