Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of more than one language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet, Internet, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, pay attention to detail and also sit
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, work in a flexible environment, work in an organized way and also take initiative
- The candidate should be someone who can judge and also a team player
- The candidate should have accuracy, efficient interpersonal skills and also excellent oral and written communication
- The candidate should be able to supervise 3-4 people
- The candidate should have specialization or experience (business sales and services) of sales, buying, merchandise needs analysis, market analysis, product selection, negotiation, distribution, pricing and merchandising or window
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to establish and maintain contact with suppliers and also maintain adequate stock levels
- The candidate should be able to oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets, review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase and also select and purchase merchandise for resale
- The candidate should be able to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers, supervise work of other buyers, visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events and also order stock
- The candidate should be able to study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
