Salary: $17.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Public transportation is available and Willing to travel

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers and Grill
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling physically demanding tasks, and prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their responsibilities
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods during work hours, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) if required

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on clients and their needs, possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and commitments
• The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables, carry and replace linen, and clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, load buspans and trays, and operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
• The candidates should be able to place dishes in the storage area, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans, keep records of the quantities of food used, and package take-out food
• The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, take customers’ orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sharpen kitchen knives, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
