Salary: $26.00 hourly for 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Vernon, BC
Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Business and/or industry

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word 
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems, as well as identify barriers to employment and assist clients with job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing resumes, and preparing for job interviews
  • The candidates should be able to deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia, and identify additional/alternative services and provide referrals
