Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitor, analyze, and respond to competitive pricing actions, trends, and market practices in a timely fashion
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement pricing initiatives in response to various demand indicators to support the Corporate objectives
- The candidates should be able to analyze reports and identify trends to support pricing changes to optimize revenue, review and update existing and new pricing agreements
- The candidates should be able to understand and utilize SPA (Special Program Agreement) agreements and trucking network rates to maximize network opportunities
- The candidates should be able to monitor SRA (Spot Rate Agreement) utilization and provide tracking reports, including post-audits of spot rates authorized
- The candidates should be able to work closely with the Revenue Management Managers to identify pricing opportunities and identify opportunities to improve revenue using different levers and actively participate in strategic meetings
- The candidates should be able to develop and maintain expertise in cargo tools and techniques, as well as cargo information systems
- The candidates should be able to support the evaluation, analysis, and development of automated solutions to processes and reports
- The candidates should be able to participate in the evaluation and design of new and revised internal and external analysis reports and manipulate large data sets to provide intelligence for pricing decisions
- The candidates should be able to identify market and revenue opportunities and make periodic visits with the Sales and Operations teams
