Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools, and estimate costs and materials
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- The candidates should be able to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, supervise other workers, and maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
