Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
The candidates should be able to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
The candidates should be able to supervise other workers
The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
