Job Description:

Salary: $32.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs, and read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
The candidates should be able to prepare tenders and quotations, build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
The candidates should be able to schedule and coordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, and supervise other workers

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
