With a team of experienced practitioners, our center aims to empower clients in Legal and surrounding areas to achieve balance and wholeness in their lives through a variety of therapeutic and self-discovery approaches. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $25.00 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Legal, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning Start date
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license and Own vehicle
Work setting: Rural area
Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people, 11-15 people, and 16-20 people
Target audience: Adolescents, Adults, Children, Females, Males, and Family
Social work specialization: Child welfare, Socio-economic needs or conditions, and Family mediation
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Social work specialization: Child welfare, Socio-economic needs or conditions, and Family mediation
Credentials: Mental health first aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Drug test, Child welfare check, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload efficiently
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral and written communication abilities
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility and interpersonal awareness in adapting to changing circumstances and interactions
- The candidates should exercise good judgment, be organized, and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should be team players, fostering collaboration within the team, uphold values and ethics in their professional conduct, and demonstrate adaptability in various work situations
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interview clients to assess their situation and determine the types of services required and eligibility
- The candidates should be able to perform administrative tasks
- The candidates should be able to refer clients to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment, and other services
