Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, should be able to work effectively under pressure, and should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be accurate in their work, should have excellent oral communication skills, and should be flexible in adapting to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate the cash register, should be able to process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and should be able to scan items
• The candidates should be able to tabulate total payment for goods or services required, should be able to receive payment for goods or services, and should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• The candidates should be able to engage in suggestive selling, should be able to stock shelves and clean the counter area, and should be able to greet customers
• The candidates should be able to participate in promotional activities and should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
