Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, scan items, and receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, engage in suggestive selling, stock shelves, and clean the counter area
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, wrap or place merchandise in bags, provide customer service, monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
- The candidates should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
