Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Interact machine, Price scanner, Computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be physically fit and capable of handling demanding tasks, demonstrating attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and able to stand for extended periods as required
- The candidates should also be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed during their duties
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate accuracy in their work and exhibit excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should also demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and process various payment methods, including money, cheques, and credit/debit cards
- The candidates should be able to scan items and tabulate the total payment for goods or services, as well as receive payment from customers
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received, reconcile with total sales, and engage in suggestive selling
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean the counter area, and greet customers while accepting reservations or take-out orders
- The candidates should be able to assist theatre patrons with seat selection, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and weigh produce and bulk foods
- The candidates should provide customer service, assist customers with self-checkout, and monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary
