Salary: $16.55 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Willing to relocate, Rural area
Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Dairy cattle
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in corn farming, hay farming, other grain farming, dairy farming, and livestock management
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, work in a fast-paced agricultural environment, and handle physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be adept at managing tight deadlines, have attention to detail, and be familiar with repetitive tasks. Additionally, they should have hand-eye coordination, the ability to distinguish between colors, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and activities like bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication and exhibit excellent written communication
- The candidates should be organized, team players, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be reliable and quick learners
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform calving activities, groom farm animals, manage feed inventory, handle animals, and monitor animal health
- The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- The candidates should be able to provide agricultural livestock services such as artificial insemination, spraying, or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns, or poultry houses
- The candidates should carry out a pasture or pen breeding program, co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintain livestock performance records, maintain quality control and production records, recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidates should be able to select livestock for sale, supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, feed and tend animals, and milk cows
