Salary: $29.46 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Saint-Laurent, QC
Shifts: Day, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Drive manual transmission vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete mixing
Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Credentials: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be attentive to detail in handling heavy loads and proficient in weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding task

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments
  • The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and be team players, able to collaborate effectively with others

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch
