Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Certification, Registration with Provincial or Territorial Authorities, and Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, pay attention to detail, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to maintain a strong client focus, work effectively as a team player, show dependability, and demonstrate reliability

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare patients for dental examinations, take and develop X-rays, record dental procedures performed on patients, and educate patients concerning oral hygiene
• The candidates should be able to maintain and order supplies, sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, perform reception and clerical duties, and schedule and confirm appointments
• The candidates should be able to invoice patients for dental services

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
