Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials:Â Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Mental health first aid Certificate, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Cultural Awareness Training, Medication Administration Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check, Child welfare check, and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in child welfare and be accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure in the field of child welfare
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication abilities and display flexibility in adapting to various situations
- The candidates should show initiative in their work and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to engage in administrative and office activities, implement life skills workshops, and perform housekeeping activities
- The candidates should engage in food preparation, provide suicide and crisis intervention, and resolve conflict situations
- The candidates should supervise activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses and accompany clients to appointments and social outings
