Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and pay attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible and patient
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and travel with family on trips to assist with child supervision
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, press clothing and household linens, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take them to and from school and appointments, and tend to their emotional well-being
