Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home, staff accommodation available, urban area, room and board provided, relocation costs covered by employer, and willing to relocate

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Children
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking
• The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to care for pets and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and organize activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and tend to the emotional well-being of children
