Work setting: Employer’s home, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Target Audience: Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and scent-free
- The candidates should have experience in performing repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication skills, conveying information clearly and effectively
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent written communication skills, producing accurate and articulate written content
- The candidates should be organized, maintaining a systematic approach to tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently delivering quality work and meeting expectations
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping, bathe, dress, feed infants and children and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to prepare, supervise and care for children and serve nutritious meals
