Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, and Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, Work in employer’s/client’s home, and Relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children, and School age (6 – 12 years)
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check and Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smokers
• The candidates may involve physically demanding tasks, and the candidates should be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication
• The candidates be organized, reliable, and team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and supervise and care for children
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and take children to and from school and to appointments
