Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate And First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check And Medical Exam

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• The candidates should be efficient in interpersonal skills, flexible, and take initiative
• The candidates should be able to exercise judgement, organized, and reliable

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and tend to the emotional well-being of children

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
