Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have enrolled in a Civil Engineering program
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to work in a team
• The candidates should have access to a vehicle
• The candidates should be occasionally available to travel outside the Montreal suburbs

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have competence in the field of concrete
• The candidates should possess an ASP card general health and safety on construction sites
• The candidates should ideally have a Level I technician card (ACI)
• The candidates should have a valid Class 5 License
• The candidates should work with respect towards the customer
• The candidates should have good knowledge of Montreal and its suburbs

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to carry out quality control on site and in the laboratory
• The candidate should be able to participate in the development of new mixtures
• The candidate should be able to monitor the quality system put in place by the engineers of Béton Mobile du Québec Inc., A division of Lafarge Canada Inc
• The candidate should be able to participate in the calibration of mobile concrete mixers
• The candidate should be able to carry out all activities related to quality control, such as grain size, site reports, and reporting non-conformities
• The candidate should be able to assist the engineers in maintaining the Quality System for BNQ certification
