Kitasoo Band Store LTD is a community-owned retail establishment dedicated to showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Kitasoo/Xai’xais First Nation. Offering a diverse range of authentic Indigenous arts, crafts, and apparel, the store serves as a vital economic hub for local artisans and entrepreneurs. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: 540 Kitasoo Road Klemtu, BC V0T 1L0
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be proficient in handling repetitive tasks and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods of time
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, handle and report lost and found items
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
