Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, office building, commercial building, shopping centre or mall, recreational facility/institution, health care institution, facility or clinic, hospital/medical facility or clinic, hotel, motel, resort, school or educational institution/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently under pressure, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations, and maintaining productivity in physically demanding environments
- The candidates should be capable of managing repetitive tasks with a focus on consistency and accuracy, showcasing adaptability to various physical requirements
- The candidates should be proficient in handling heavy loads, ensuring the safe and secure movement of materials, and capable of handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, adapting to bending, crouching, and kneeling, while showcasing strength and stamina as needed for the role

- The candidates should exhibit flexibility and exercise sound judgment in their approach to work

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, ensuring a well-maintained environment
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from various surfaces
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers, maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to uphold a visually appealing atmosphere
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; they should also contact tradespersons for major repairs when necessary
- The candidates should be able to advertise vacancies and effectively balance the rent roll for the establishment
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance while supervising other workers as needed
- The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances and conduct safety and security checks regularly
- The candidates should be able to show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, promoting a positive image of the property
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as part of their duties
