Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Polishing machines, Steam cleaners, Power lawn mowers, Power tools, Snowblower
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, empty trash cans and other waste containers
• The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
• The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• The candidates should be able to perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, work with minimal supervision
