Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Polishing machines, Waxing machine, Steam cleaners, Upholstery cleaning equipment, Snowblower, Power tools
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform safety and security checks
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- The candidates should be able to perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, work with minimal supervision
