Salary: $19.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, database software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, electronic mail, word processing software, and spreadsheet 
Security and safety: Criminal record check

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and sit for extended periods
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to work with minimal supervision

Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries, and record and relay information.
  • The candidates should be able to work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • The candidates should be able to sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents, and process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • The candidates should be able to send and receive messages, provide general information to clients and the public, and answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to prepare invoices and bank deposits, send invoices, and calculate billing charges
  • The candidates should be able to photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing, and file material in storage areas
  • The candidates should be able to label files according to retention and disposal schedules, label, file, and retrieve documents, and locate and remove requested files
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, order office supplies, and maintain work records and logs
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information to clients and the public, greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, and operate switchboard or telephone systems
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and process information required to provide customer service, perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, and receive and issue payments
