Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have complete the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months from the date of hire
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in the relevant field

- The candidates should have fluency in Cantonese and typically between and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The candidates should have knowledge of wealth management company and branch operations client services, trust services and account transfers
- The candidates should have knowledge of the operational aspects of traditional (stocks, bonds, money market, mutual funds) and non-traditional (managed and fee-based) products
- The candidates should be familiar with technology applications and software used in the financial planning and investment industry
- The candidates should successfully complete the 30-day BMO NB Investment Representative Licensing Program
- The candidates should have basic specialized knowledge, possess good verbal and written communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate good organizational skills and good collaboration and team skills and good analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate marketing activities on behalf of the advisory team, including managing website content, social media initiatives, client recognition for meaningful life events, and planning client events and assist the advisory team in preparing for client meetings, including scheduling appointments
- The candidates should be able to handle clients’ general day-to-day requests and inquiries, including basic money movements wires, transfers, technology issues, and account opening and updates, and follow up in a timely and confidential manner
- The candidates should be able to generate reports and documents for Investment Advisors (IAs) and clients as requested and process items for client accounts and files and organize the client database and client files and ensure transactions and tasks are appropriately assigned to team members and completed
- The candidates should be able to provide team members with support on technology issues, use of new technology, and general inquiries and escalations related to policies, procedures, and processing
- The candidates should be able to gather and distribute information on updates to training, guidelines, technology, and other business-related information and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and promote a positive client experience
- The candidates should be able to follow through on risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customers’ assets, maintain their privacy, act in their best interests, and ensure an effectively run branch
- The candidates should be able to protect the Bank’s assets and clients’ assets and comply with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements and maintain the confidentiality of client and Bank information
- The candidates should be able to complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits and analyze issues, determine the next steps, and escalate and take on broader work or accountabilities
