Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
Experience: Candidates should have 4 years customer-facing experience troubleshooting with Linux, Unix or Windows systems, from the kernel to the shell, file systems, and client-server protocols

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with exploratory kernel debugging and performance analysis of containerized systems Kubernetes or Anthos
  • The candidates should possess experience in reading and debugging code, virtualization, and orchestration frameworks
  • The candidates should demonstrate experience in debugging complex workload issues across large-scale, multi-node environments
  • The candidates should have experience in computer networking, including TCP/IP, Routing and Load balancing
  • The candidates should possess experience working with any public cloud services and infrastructure
  • The candidates should have an understanding of basic web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, DNS and TCP

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work with customers on their production Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Anthos deployments, resolving issues to achieve product readiness, availability, and scalability
  • The candidates should be able to develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud GKE/Anthos product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause of customer-reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis
  • The candidates should be able to act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in sales and customer organizations, addressing technical deployment obstacles and enhancing Google Cloud solutions
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate as part of a global team of developers and consultants to ensure 24-hour customer support, occasionally requiring non-standard work hours or shifts, including weekends
  • The candidates should be able to understand customer issues, advocate for their needs with internal teams such as Product and Engineering, to enhance the product, and drive improvements in production environments
