Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, as well as repair machine tools and parts
  • The candidates should be able to set up and adjust production machineries/tools, fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, and maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • The candidates should be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintain inspection records, and complete inspection reports
  • The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), compute dimensions and tolerances, and measure and lay out workpieces
  • The candidates should be able to set up, operate, and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, as well as verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
