Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Smart Serve and Food and Beverage Server Training
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and be prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should be capable of weight handling, including handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, stand for extended periods, and have the ability to handle physically demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings, and describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
