Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years’
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- The candidates should be able to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- The candidates should be able to operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- The candidates should be able to level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- The candidates should be able to impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
- The candidates should be able to apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
