Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy environments
- The candidates should be prepared to work outdoors as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle the demands of a physically demanding role
- The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in tasks and assignments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in oral communication, effectively conveying ideas and information
- The candidates should be a team player, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- The candidates should be able to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, operate power vibrators to compact concrete, and level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications
- The candidates should be able to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, and install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- The candidates should be able to apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
