Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional and Residential
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions, including dust, and be capable of handling heavy loads as part of their job responsibilities
- The candidates should be physically fit to manage demanding tasks and possess manual dexterity for precise work
- The candidates should be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs) as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong focus on client satisfaction and exhibit reliability in meeting job responsibilities
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and read and interpret blueprints
- The candidates should be able to operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth, operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas, and operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels
- The candidates should be able to operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials
