Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) when necessary
- The candidates should be willing to perform repetitive tasks as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be prepared for overtime as required by the job
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials
- The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine-grade specifications and assist in demolishing buildings
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
