Salary: $28.85 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and be prepared for repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have attention to detail and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, level earth to fine grade specifications, and clean and pile salvaged materials
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction and direct traffic at or near construction sites
