Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Evening, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Urban area, high-rise building construction sites, and construction site

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and dusty conditions
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding work, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be capable of weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, and erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
