Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional, and residential
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, ear plugs, and safety vest

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, with the ability to lift weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
• The candidates should possess excellent hand-eye coordination and be able to handle weight effectively

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate dependability while exhibiting flexibility in their tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, as well as move tools, equipment, and other materials
• The candidates should be able to clean and lubricate cranes and clean the work area
• The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
