Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Residential
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, be prepared for repetitive tasks, and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
