Steel horse reinforcing based in Kelowna, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Construction labourer. Steel horse reinforcing is a premier provider of reinforcing steel solutions for construction projects across Western Canada. Specializing in the fabrication and installation of rebar, wire mesh, and other structural steel components, we ensure the integrity and durability of concrete structures. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, as well as assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
