Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Urban area, various locations, and construction site
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and cellular phone
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, assist in demolishing buildings, and clean and pile salvaged materials
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, transport material and tools to and from work areas, and drive business or government personnel to and from destinations
