Position: Construction labourer and helper

Salary: $16.55 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 20 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time
Location: Colborne, ON
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Safety vest, Rain gear
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, handle heavy loads, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials
