Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Kelowna, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, and Residential
Equipment and machinery experience: Mortar and concrete mixers, Pumpcretes, Air guns, Nail guns, and Drills
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, be proficient in weight handling, and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable in their responsibilities, and be reliable in meeting their commitments
- The candidates should be flexible in adapting to various situations and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, and erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
