Salary: $29.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Various locations and Relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Residential

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working underground
  • The candidates should be at ease working at heights
  • The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces
  • The candidates should be adaptable to dusty working environments

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to varying work requirements
  • The candidates should be reliable in consistently fulfilling their responsibilities
  • The candidates should be effective team players, fostering positive collaboration

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials
  • The candidates should be able to assist heavy equipment operators
  • The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms
  • The candidates should be able to clean and maintain the work space
  • The candidates should be able to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
