Salary: $22.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, and Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, Pipelines, and Underground and tunnel work
Equipment and machinery experience: Mortar and concrete mixers, Grouting machine, and Drills

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades and assist the medical examiner in charge
  • The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs and operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels
  • The candidates should be able to operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials and assist in demolishing buildings
  • The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work
