Salary: $22.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

Location: Coquitlam, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: High-rise building construction sites, Construction site, Urban area, and Willing to relocate
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional and Residential

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Chippers, Nail guns, Drills, and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, and Safety vest
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, underground, at heights, and in confined spaces
• The candidates should be aware of and able to work in potentially dangerous conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in dusty, cold/refrigerated, noisy, and hot environments
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines
• The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure
• The candidates should have a strong attention to detail
• The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexibility, reliability, and hardworking
• The candidates should be effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
