Salary: $23.00 hourly for 30 to 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Evening, On Call, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Own tools/equipment: Tools, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, safety vest
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared to work outdoors and capable of working at heights
- The candidates should be comfortable with working in confined spaces and aware of potential dangers in the work environment
- The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated conditions and be comfortable with noisy working conditions
- The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced work environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be experienced in handling repetitive tasks and prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and possess effective hand-eye coordination

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites
- The candidates should be able to operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side
