Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, Pipelines, Residential, Poured concrete, and Roofing
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete saws, Grinding machine, Chippers, Nail guns, Forklift, and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, Pipelines, Residential, Poured concrete, and Roofing
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure, endure physically demanding tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should demonstrate manual dexterity, efficiently manage repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads effectively, and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination and have sound discrimination abilities
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods and be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs), as well as work outdoors, capable of working at heights, and able to work in noisy environments

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, clean and lubricate cranes, instruct apprentices, mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assemble tower cranes on site
- The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials, operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials, pave and rake asphalt, and assist in demolishing buildings
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-operational inspection and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, perform routine maintenance work, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
