Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 32 to 44 hours per week

Type of operation: Grinding, Mixing, Blending, Baking or cooking, Freezing, Cooling, Fermenting, Packaging
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Single function machine
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products, perform corrective machine adjustments, record production information
- The candidates should be able to observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions, clean machines and immediate work areas, inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities, make adjustments to process variables
- The candidates should be able to maintain shift log of production and other data, set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
- The candidates should be able to check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
- The candidates should be able to operate machines that blend, flavour, condition, dry, flatten, strip or cut raw tobacco leaves
